I provide individual psychotherapy and consultations on issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, relationships, body image concerns, eating disorders, substance abuse, academic and/or professional concerns, cross-cultural adjustment, and international student concerns. My professional interests also include stress and time management and finding and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Based on each person's needs and preferences, I integrate different treatment modalities including psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches in a supportive and accepting atmosphere. In therapy, we will identify the issues of concern, and subsequently we may explore their roots, learn how they manifest in your current life, and work on overcoming them through behavioral and cognitive changes. If needed, I may provide referrals for medication consultations, nutritional consultations, couples therapy, or any other service that may be of help.
